Description

No. 2 Freeman Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three stories tall, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The eaves soffit features plain brackets. On the second floor, there are two sash windows with gauged flat arches above them. The first floor has a three-light window and a blank panel, both also with gauged flat arches. The ground floor has been somewhat altered and features an early 19th-century wood shop front, which includes fluted Doric columns on either side and a central entrance with an "umbrella" pattern fanlight. No. 2 Freeman Street, along with the Pop Inn Restaurant and Malthouse, forms a group.
