Description
Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the mid-17th century with later alterations. It is constructed of brick and has a roof made of black glazed pantiles, forming a T plan. The building is two storeys high. The south front features a 19th-century door located to the right of the centre, set within a timber doorcase. To the left, there is a three-light 18th-century segmental-headed casement window. On the first floor, there are two 18th-century two-light casements, also under segmental heads but in reduced openings. The eaves cornice was rebuilt in the 20th century, and the roof is gabled. The gables are shaped and rest on kneelers, with internal stacks; the eastern stack is octagonal with a star top and moulded plinth, while the western stack is from the 20th century. The east gable wall has two rectangular windows on the ground floor.
At the rear, there is a two-storey gabled cross wing built on a brick plinth, featuring a platband at the first floor. The east side of this wing has a central door with an 18th-century casement window to the right and left, along with a similar window on the first floor and two 20th-century casements. The north gable is shaped, and there is a ridge stack located to the left of centre. On the west side of the cross wing, there is a stepped stack and a three-light chamfered mullioned casement window on the ground floor from the 17th century, along with a four-light ovolo mullioned casement window on the first floor.
