Description
This is a house located at 61 Buck Yard, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a roof covered with red pantiles. The ground floor features two windows and a 20th-century porch, while the first floor has three 20th-century windows. There is a north extension that includes a 20th-century door and windows on both the ground and first floors, with flint on the ground floor and brick on the first floor, dating from the 18th century. The south gable has brick quoins and two blocked windows on the first floor, along with a brick monogram. The house has a 20th-century coped parapet and an end stack, with off-centre stacks at the north end. Inside, the property features chamfered and stopped beams on both the ground and first floors, as well as a butt-purlin roof with collars and wind-bracing.
