Description

Crown House is a building likely dating from the 18th century, with a rear wing from the 19th century. It is two storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a stucco front. The first floor features six sash windows without glazing bars, each with enriched architraves. On the ground floor, there are two wooden splay bay windows topped with cornices. The entrance is adorned with consoles and a dentil cornice. The building has a slate roof and an eaves band. The rear wing is at right angles and connects to the Crown Hotel, with an entrance leading into the hotel courtyard. The roof is covered with pantiles. Crown House, along with the Crown Hotel and Casa Maria, forms a group.
