Description
The Wheel House, located at numbers 112, 114, and 114A High Street in Blakeney, is an 18th-century building constructed of flint with rusticated stucco quoins and window surrounds. It features a moulded brick eaves cornice and a hipped pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and has five windows, with the central section slightly projecting and highlighted by quoins. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars in exposed casing. A prominent central doorway (at number 114) is distinguished by thin pilasters, an open pediment, a semi-circular fanlight with tracery, and a fielded-panel door. To the left (south) of the main building, the section known as The Wheel House has a glazed door and a late 19th or early 20th-century shop window set within a rusticated surround. The north end wall is stuccoed.
