Description
Nos 146 and 148 on High Street are a pair of 17th century cottages that have been converted into two dwellings. They are constructed of flint with red brick dressings and feature a pantile roof with gabled ends. The building has brick dentil eaves and stands two storeys tall. The ground floor has three widely spaced windows, with one doorway converted into a window. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars, and the ground floor openings are segmental-headed. There is an off-centre flush panel door with the top panels glazed, and a brick chimney stack is located off centre. The doorway for No 146 has been moved to the rear.
