Description
39 High Street is an 18th-century building with a brick front that is covered in stucco. It has a pantile roof with coped gable ends and features brick dentil eaves. The structure is two storeys tall, with an attic and a cellar, and it has three windows across the front. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The central doorway is framed by a fluted pilastered doorcase topped with an entablature. There is one flat-headed dormer on the left side. Brick chimney stacks are located at both ends of the building. At the rear, there is a brick addition that likely dates from the early 19th century and matches the front in terms of fenestration, doorcase, and stucco. To the right, there is a small single-storey wing with one sash window, stuccoed walls, and a hipped pantile roof.
