Description
Old Hall is a house that forms the north wing of the demolished Old Hall, dating from the 16th or 17th century. It features plastered walls that are brick faced, with a north gable and pilasters at the quoins of the likely timber framed west front. The ground floor has two windows: a sash window with glazing bars on the north side and a rounded-headed casement on the south. The first floor includes a sash window with glazing bars on the north and a small central two-light casement. There is a central doorway with deep reveals and a part-glazed six-panel door. The building has projecting eaves and a steeply pitched roof, with a large stack at the south end. At the rear, there is a later outshut that has internal beams and joists exposed. The north gable features two sash windows with glazing bars on both the ground and first floors, along with blocked attic windows.
