Description
This is a late 18th or early 19th century building on High Street, with a stucco exterior and a pantile roof with gabled ends. It has brick dentil eaves and two storeys plus an attic. The first floor has four sash windows with glazing bars. Four attic dormers are set into the roof, each containing a sash window with glazing bars and flat heads. The ground floor features a late 19th century shop on the right, with a cornice and fielded panel door topped with a cornice on console brackets. A panelled door with a pilastered case and console brackets is located on the left. A large, late 19th or early 20th century red brick arched entrance is also on the left and stands two storeys high, topped with a cornice. The building is part of a group of listed buildings on High Street, along with listed buildings in Jetty Street, Jetty Cliff, and West Cliff.
