Description
No 20 on Westgate Street is a mid-19th century building constructed from flint cobbles with painted brick dressings. It features a black-glazed pantile roof with brick coping at the gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The building has two storeys and two bays, with sash windows that do not have glazing bars. The central entrance is framed by a doorcase with moulded pilasters and an entablature, along with panelled reveals and a glazed and panelled door. There are brick chimney stacks at each end of the building. In front, there is an area wall made of flint with red brick dressings and ramped brick coping, standing approximately 3 feet 6 inches high.
