Description
23 Westgate Street is an early 19th-century building that was originally a row of cottages arranged at right angles to the road, but it has since been converted into a single dwelling. The structure is built of flint with red brick dressings and features a pantile roof, with a hipped west end and a gabled east end that has brick coping. The eaves are adorned with brick dentils. The building is two storeys high and has five widely spaced sash windows with glazing bars. There are three modern glazed doors, with the west door featuring a large modern porch. Brick chimney stacks are also present.
