Description
This is a coffin lid located about 15 metres north of the Church of St Mary The Virgin, dating from around the 13th century. It is a stone monolith, pinkish white in color, likely made of limestone, and is currently broken into two pieces. The coffin lid is long, tapered, and ridged, featuring splayed corners. Along the ridge, there is a shaft that terminates in fleuree crosses, with an additional fleuree cross positioned off-centre where the stone is broken.
