Description

This barn, located 40 meters south of Crostwight Hall, dates from around 1700. It is constructed of brick and has a roof made of corrugated asbestos. The barn is a single storey, with its north side obscured by a later continuous outshut. It features a gabled roof, with the east gable head having been rebuilt. The west gable includes a platband, three tiers of vertical ventilation slits, and one blocked window. The south side has full height double doors. Inside, the roof structure consists of principals, two tiers of butt purlins, two tiers of collars, and some curved windbracing.
