Description
Deepdale Farmhouse is a farmhouse that consists of a 17th-century rear wing and an early 19th-century house added in front, both of which are two storeys high. The 17th-century section is constructed of clunch with brick dressings and has 20th-century replacement smut pantiles, while the early 19th-century part is made of gault brick and features a slated roof. The older section has one window on the ground floor and two on the first floor, including one leaded casement, with brick dressings, brick quoins, a south gable parapet, and chimney stacks that have been replaced in the 20th century. The early 19th-century house has a three-bay entrance facade with two ground floor sash windows under flat rubbed brick arches, which are recessed beneath two semi-circular rubbed brick arches. The first floor has three sash windows under flat rubbed brick arches, all with glazing bars. There are also central two-leaf French doors, deep projecting eaves, and a low-pitched hipped roof.
