Description

This is a late 18th-century house, later converted into flats in 1989. It is located on St Ann’s Street, King’s Lynn. The house is constructed of rendered and colourwashed brick, with a slate roof. It is two storeys high with a dormer attic in six bays. The ground floor is rusticated and sits on a plinth course. A panelled door is located to the right of centre, sheltered by a plain open pediment. The sash windows are 20th-century replacements, and are fitted with metal frames. A moulded string course runs along the first floor. The gabled roof has two tower dormers with hipped roofs, each containing 20th-century casements. An external stack is present on the south gable. The interior features windows with panelled shutters, boxed bridging beams, and a staircase with thin turned balusters, neck pieces, and a plain handrail.
