Description

31 Bridge Street is a house with origins dating back to the mid-16th century, although it has undergone significant alterations since then. It was restored and modified in 1967. The exterior features colourwashed brick and flint with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys, with a door on the left in a timber case and one sash window on each floor, both with glazing bars. The roof is gabled and includes one gabled dormer. A ridge stack is shared with the adjacent property, No. 30. At the rear, there is a two-storey 19th-century brick outshut. Inside, there is a winder staircase located by the stack.
