Description

This is a terrace of three houses, built around 1825 in King’s Lynn. The houses are constructed of brown brick with slate roofs. The roofline is staggered due to a change in ground level. Numbers 1 and 2 occupy the eastern portion of the terrace. They have four bays each, with two-panelled doors in the first and fourth bays, set below three-vaned fanlights. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars and finely gauged skewback arches. A stucco platband, decorated with alternating acanthus and palmette leaves, runs above the first floor. A moulded timber eaves cornice sits below the gabled roof. An internal gable-end stack is located on the left (east) side, and a ridge stack is situated between the properties. Number 3, on the western side, has two wide bays, and a third bay containing a door. The door has two top glazed panels, and the fanlight is blocked. All other details of Number 3 are similar to the other properties. A further internal gable-end stack is present on the west side.
