Description

This is a headstone made of ashlar, dating from 1755, located 5 metres southeast of the porch of the Church of St Andrew in West Dereham. The headstone features a pair of engaged Ionic columns that support a moulded entablature, which encloses a circular bowed inscription panel. There are rosettes in the spandrels, and above the entablature is a moulded set-back segmental projection that displays a winged cherub head in relief.
