Description

Appletree Cottage and Sunnyside are a pair of cottages located on the south side of The Street in Lammas. They date from the 17th century and have been significantly altered over time. The cottages are constructed of red brick and flint, with brick dressings at the east end, and feature a reed thatched roof. They stand two storeys high with an attic. The ground floor has two and three light casements with segmental heads. The gables are parapeted, and the east gable shows brick tumbling. There are chimney stacks located at the gables and off-centre on the ridge line. The cottages have two entrance doors and include 20th-century extensions on both the east and west sides.
