Description

This barn, located approximately 20 yards north of Tuttington Old Rectory, dates from the late 17th century and is classified as a three-stead barn. It is constructed of red brick and features a thatched roof. The barn has brick corner pilasters and parapeted gables with tumbling. There is a large central door opening in the south wall, and a pantiled lean-to is present on the east gable. The interior includes a butt-purlin roof with straight wind braces, and tie beams with straight braces on the wall posts. This barn is included for its group value with the Old Rectory.
