Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 17th century and extended in the 18th century. It is constructed of brick and has pantile roofs. The main block includes a portion from the 17th century, which has been extended in the 18th century, along with a later single-storey service wing at the rear. The building is two storeys high. The 17th-century section features two original two-light mullion and transom windows on the first floor, which have metal casements and some leaded glazing. On the ground floor, there is an 18th-century three-light mullion and transom window beneath a rough skewback arch, along with a blocked doorway. The 18th-century part of the farmhouse has a similar three-light window on the ground floor and three two-light mullion and transom windows with metal casements and some leaded glazing on the first floor. There is a 19th-century panelled door and a gabled porch with a shaped barge-board supported by a pair of simple posts. The roof is likely from the 18th century. The rear wall has two original blocked single-light casement windows at first floor level and gable end stacks. The single-storey service extension features modern windows.
