Description
The Lodge to Admiralty House was built around 1898-1901 by M. Macartney for a Dutch patron. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate hipped roof. The building has three bays and is one storey high, with a central entrance bay that projects forward. The entrance door is flanked by two-light casements, and there is a plinth with brick quoins at the corners. The outer bays also have three-light casements. S-shaped iron brackets support the coved eaves, and the roof is hipped at the front of the entrance bay. A central cross axial stack with an oversailing cap is present. The interior has not been inspected.
