Description
The building is a dairy located about 25 meters east of Hunton Park, dating from the late 19th century, possibly built for Lord Rokeby at Hazelwood House, now known as Hunton Park. It is constructed of knapped flint with white brick dressings and features a decorative tiled roof. The dairy is a single storey structure with a semi-octagonal bay at the center. It has central doors and flanking two-light casements, all with chamfered surrounds, brick quoins, and brackets with pendants supporting the deep eaves. The hipped roof includes an open octagonal turret topped with a bracketed cornice and a leaded spirelet. There are two bay ranges on either side; the left side has an entrance and a window, while the right side is blind. The ends have extruded stacks with oversailing caps, and the roof is half hipped to the left. The rear is made of stock brick and contains two entrances and three three-light casements with cambered heads. Inside, there are slate work tops supported by turned timber legs.
