Public house. Early to mid C18, part refronted and extended c.1900. Red brick, whitewashed and rendered to front. Machine tiled roof. 2 storeys. 4 window main range. 2 bays to left with C18 brick. Later 3 light casements, blocked openings, plat band. External left end stack with offsets, stacks on front pitch between left bays, central ridge stack. 2 bays to right refronted c.1900. Ground floor entrance with flanking 3 light windows, all rusticated with panelled end piers, cornice to first floor with 2 light casements with gabled heads, parapet. To far right an angled entrance with curved doors, a 2 light casement above. Attached at right end is taller 2 storey late C19 block with a full height canted bay to front with 1 bay of tall leaded lights to left, all rusticated with a cornice to the bay. Extruded right end stack with flanking blind openings. To rear, dentilled eaves, similar casements, part roughcast, later block has an entrance, flush frame sashes.
