Description

Raban Court is an early 17th-century building that has been carefully restored. It features color-washed plaster over a timber framework and has steeply pitched old tiled roofs. The building is two storeys high, with the upper floor overhanging on moulded beams. It encloses two and a half sides of a yard, which is accessed through a tall carriageway from Royston Road. The windows are flush casement style with glazing bars. There is a projecting gable on the south side at the west end and a large gable on the west side at the south end. Raban Court occupies a prominent site and is part of a group with Nos 2 to 6.
