Description

This is a 17th-century plaster house, with alterations from the 18th century, located on the east side of Bancroft. It is one of a group of properties including numbers 91 to 93, 95 to 103B, and 105 to 109. The house is two storeys high and features an overhanging upper storey supported by four heavy carved modillions. The ground floor has two canted bay windows, while the upper floor has four windows. A carved cornice sits above, incorporating small modillions and a dentil course below a short parapet in front of a slate Mansard roof with a square dormer. The entrance door is made of six panels, with the top four being fielded, and is topped by a fanlight. A carriageway is situated on the right side of the property.
