Description

Orford Lodge is an early 19th century building made of grey brick, consisting of two adjoining units: Orford Lodge itself, which has three storeys, and No. 100, which has two storeys. The building features deeply projecting eaves and a hipped slate roof that is only visible over No. 100. Orford Lodge has a prominent porch supported by massive Doric columns, while No. 100 includes a canted three-sided bay that extends from the ground to the roof. Orford Lodge has four windows, and No. 100 has six windows, all set in reveals with glazing bars and flat arches. Additionally, No. 99 features fluted Greek Doric columns on its porch. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 91 to 93, Nos. 95 to 103B, and Nos. 105 to 109.
