Description
Manor Farm Cottage and the attached barn, located to the west of Manor Farm House, is a building from the 18th century that has been partly converted into a dwelling and altered in the 20th century. It features red brick construction with sections that are weatherboarded and has a tiled roof that is half hipped on the left side. The structure consists of five bays, with a plinth and a plat band. There are blocked ventilation slits, and the central bay includes large double doors, with a midstrey at the rear that has a weatherboarded gable. The right gable end is also weatherboarded. The two left bays have been converted into a dwelling, featuring an inserted door and three light casements, while the left end has blocked openings. Inside, the building showcases curved braces from posts to tie beams, angled struts to principals, lower butt purlins, and collars that clasp the upper purlins. This building is included for its group value.
