Description

No 1 High Street is a building dating from the 16th century or early 17th century, which was refaced in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a timber frame that is covered by plaster and has a Welsh slated roof. The building stands three storeys tall, with the upper floors each oversailing and supported by brackets on the second floor. The shop fronts are modern, and there are two flush sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded frames. No 1 to 6 High Street form a group with No 33 Market Place.
