Description

Nos 5 and 6 High Street is a mid-19th century building designed in the Italianate style. It features an impressive stucco facade with careful detailing, including a modillion cornice above a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate. The building stands three storeys tall and has quoins and a vermiculated ground floor. The second floor has architrave surrounds, while the first floor has eared architrave surrounds and pediments. The wings of the building are slightly recessed, with one window on the left and two storeys on the right. Nos 1 to 6 High Street form a group with No 33 Market Place.
