Description

The Stallibrass Monument is a chest tomb located about 1 metre south of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Barkway. It commemorates T. Stallibrass, who died in 1827. The monument is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate capping. It has moulded corner pilasters that bulge out at the bases and raised fielded panelled sides. The capping has a chamfered upper edge.
