Description
The Plume of Feathers Public House is a building that originated as a house in the 17th century, with an early 19th-century brick front and a 20th-century rear wing and low extensions. The structure features a timber frame that is roughcast, a red brick front, and roughcast extensions, all topped with steep old red tile roofs. It is a two-storey T-shaped building facing east, with a gabled two-storey rear wing. The main range has a three-cells layout with end chimneys, a small porch, and an entrance located a third of the way from the south. The east front consists of three bays framed by chamfered pilasters and a base, with one window on each floor in each bay. The ground floor has three-light casement windows with cambered arches. Inside, the building features chamfered axial beams.
