Description
This is an outhouse located 10 meters north of the house at Hammond's Farm, dating from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame resting on a brick sill, with the frame exposed on the north side and 18th-century red brick infill. The east gable is stuccoed, while the south side is cased in 19th-century yellow brick. The building has a steep old red tile roof and is a single-storey rectangular structure consisting of two structural bays, situated slightly north of the back door of the main house. On the south side, there is a door and a fixed six-panel window. The roof is constructed with clasped purlins. The framing on the north side includes one bay with six panels and another with four panels, along with a mid-height rail. It was probably originally used as a brewhouse.
