Description

No. 7 Whitehorse Street is an early to mid 19th-century house that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed of red brick, featuring a vertical shaft of red and blue brickwork that runs the full height of the front and slightly projects, showcasing an unusual pattern of bonding. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and slopes down to the ends of the front, behind a plain parapet. The building has a modern shop front, while the upper floors each have two windows. The top floor includes ornamental cast iron balconies, and the windows are sashes with glazing bars set under flat arches. The façade is further enhanced by angle pilasters and a cornice band.
