Description

This is a cast iron pump located on the roadside outside Nos. 1 and 2 New Cottages in Hexton. It was built around 1908 for G.H. Hodgson, who was the lord of the manor, and it remained in use until the 1940s. In front of the pump, there is a flat stone.
