Description
The North Stable at Manor Farm, located 15 metres west-northwest of the house, is a stable dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is a small L-plan building constructed with a timber frame, weatherboarded, and thatched. The stable faces south and is positioned against Standon Road. It features a gabled roof that is hipped at the angle, with low walls and a high clasped purlin roof. The south gable is plastered, with brick and flint walling beneath a dripboard. The stable has tarred boarding and small three-paned windows situated under wide thatched eaves on the roadside. It is a prominent structure when entering the hamlet from the west and is part of a group of buildings at Manor Farm and around the crossroads.
