Description
The outbuildings at Lower Farm, located 4 metres east of the house, consist of a brewhouse, woodhouse, and granary, dating from the 18th century. These single-storey structures are weatherboarded and face south, featuring steep gabled roofs covered in red tiles. From west to east, there is a brewhouse with some walling renewed in red brick, which includes a 3-light wooden window and an iron casement. Next is a narrow woodhouse that is timber-framed and has a plank door. The granary, also timber-framed, is a single-storey building raised on brick piers and retains its interior bins for corn. Access to the granary is via a plank door approached by wooden steps. These outbuildings are part of a group surrounding Lower Farm.
