Description
This is a farmhouse located at Broken Green, dating from the late 17th century, with a 19th-century northern wing at the rear. The building features a timber frame that is roughcast on a low brick sill, while the rear wing is constructed of brickwork that is plastered. It has steep red tiled roofs and stands two storeys high, arranged as a three-unit structure with a lobby entry. The central chimney house includes an 18th-century external gable stack on the east side, and there is a central chimney in the large two-storey 19th-century rear wing. The south front has three windows, which are flush box sash windows with eight over eight panes. There is a gabled, tiled Gothic glazed porch aligned with the chimney, leading to a four-panel door.
