Description
This is a late 16th and early 17th century timber-frame house. It was originally known as Kettlehall Farm House. The house has a deeply thatched roof, with a hipped form on the north side. The exterior is weatherboarded and plastered. It is two stories high, with two bays, and includes an earlier 19th-century lean-to addition on the north side, which has a thatched roof extending to the ground floor. There are two windows on the east side, featuring 3-light casements that open at the top. A large, cemented brick chimney stack is located on the south gable end. Inside, there are chamfered floor beams with run-out stops and a former bay or bays on the south side.
