Description

Little Farmhouse is a 17th-century building, altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of timber frame with red brick facing, and has a tiled roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and features two gabled dormers. The windows are casement windows, with two lights on the first floor and three lights on the ground floor. A continuous beam runs across the first floor. A hipped gabled projection is at the rear. A 20th-century wing extends from the east side, with a pentice roof. The interior includes two inglenook fireplaces, a cellar beneath the parlour, and herringbone nogging visible in the east gable. Little Farmhouse forms a group with its barn.
