Description

The King's Arms Public House is an early 17th century building located on the east side of High Street. It features a timber frame with a plaster-faced road front and deep modillioned eaves beneath a steeply tiled roof. The structure has three storeys and five windows. The ground floor has modern bay windows, while the first floor showcases an early 19th century three-light sash window. At the rear, there is a half-timbered wing with an open gallery on the first floor. The King's Arms has been known by this name since the early 17th century. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 41 to 47 (odd).
