Description

Northend Cottage is a building from the 16th or early 17th century. It has a timber frame that has been refaced in whitewashed brick and features an old tiled roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has five modern flush casement windows. There is a closed porch with a pentice roof located to the right of the centre. The back of the building has a semi-circular bow that accommodates the staircase. Inside, the first-floor walls showcase original raised plaster decoration featuring fleur-de-lys and rose designs beneath a crown.
