Description

The Hyde Monument, located in All Saints Churchyard, dates from 1801 or earlier and is dedicated to Elizabeth Hyde. It is made of Portland stone and features a heavy blunt obelisk that stands on a square base. The base has moulded capping and a moulded base. The west face of the obelisk includes a long inscription, though it is currently illegible. The monument is situated 16 meters to the east of the church.
