Description

Lloyds Bank, located at 205 High Street, is an early to mid 19th century building. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped Welsh slate roof and features a stucco ground floor. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a casement box dormer. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with plain surrounds, while the ground floor has two sets of three-light sashes. The ground floor is distinguished by Doric pilasters and an entablature, along with a central closed porch that has Greek Ionic attached columns. The entrance is framed by an architrave surrounding a two-fold ten-panel door and an oblong fanlight.
