Description

Gossom’s Lodge is a 16th or early 17th-century structure that underwent alterations in the 18th century in a Gothic style, with further changes made later. The ground floor is stuccoed, while the first floor is clad in 19th-century tile hanging. The roof is tiled. The building is two storeys high and features three sash windows with pointed arched glazing bars. A central, closed porch doorway is present, alongside side windows. An early chimneystack is notable, featuring a square base transitioning to a cylindrical shaft with spiral mouldings.
