Description

This is a 18th-century red brick outbuilding located in Debden Park, originally serving as a stable block for the former Debden Hall, which was constructed in 1796 and demolished in 1936. The building has an H-shaped plan and is two storeys tall. The east front features projecting wings at both the north and south ends. The central section is divided into five bays, accented by plain pilasters. The upper storey includes 3-light casement windows, while the ground storey has a central entrance doorway along with doors and windows that feature semi-circular arched heads. The roof is covered with concrete granule faced tiles and is hipped over the end wings.
