Description

The dovecote at Hall Farm, Lofts Hall, is a fine large octagonal structure made of red brick, possibly originating from the 16th century but featuring mainly 13th-century characteristics. It is reputed to be the largest and finest dovecote in the county, containing approximately 1,500 nests. On the west side, there is a small door, and on the south side, there is a hipped dormer. The roof is tiled and includes an octagonal louvre with a tiled roof.
