Description
Porridge Hall is a house dating from the 15th century or earlier. It is timber-framed and has been plastered, with some areas weatherboarded. The roof is a combination of red plain tiles and thatch. The house is two storeys high, with a further storey and attics. A gabled cross wing, originally jettied, projects to the left. The front has a one- and two-window range of 19th-century and modern casement windows. A modern gabled porch has been added. A red brick chimney stack and staircase tower, dating from the 16th century, are located at the rear.
