Description

Rookery Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from circa 1600. It is two storeys high, with the upper storey projecting on curved brackets to the south front. The windows are casement windows with leaded lights, replaced in the 20th century. The front features modern panel pargeting designed in traditional patterns. The roof is tiled, and includes an original central chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts. The building was previously listed under the name “Road to Norton End”.
