Description
Trout Hall is a large house dating from around 1600, but it has been significantly altered on the east and north sides in the 18th and 19th centuries. During these alterations, the building was faced in brick, and a third storey was added, featuring tile hanging on the east and south sides. The north front is made of red brick, while the lower storeys of the east front are colourwashed brick. The house has three storeys, with three windows on the north front and the upper storey of the east front; the lower storeys have irregular window arrangements. Most of the windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The roof is slate.
